Dr. Buckley is a board eligible periodontist who received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from El Bosque University in Bogota, Colombia. She then earned both her Doctor of Science in Oral Biology and Certificate of Advanced Studies in Dentistry in Periodontology at Boston University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. Most recently, she obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University School of Dental Medicine.
For nearly a decade, Dr. Buckley has provided all aspects of periodontal therapy at multispecialty and general practice offices. Some of her treatment experience includes non-surgical and surgical periodontal therapy, soft tissue laser, crown lengthening, aesthetic periodontal plastic surgery, guided bone and tissue regeneration procedures, implant placement, implant site development including soft tissue, bone grafts and vertical or lateral sinus lifts and all in 4 procedures for more complex restorative cases. Dr. Buckley also conducted extensive research in Periodontal Microbiology at The Forsyth Institute and El Bosque University.
When she is not working with patients, she is at Boston University School of Dental Medicine working with 3rd and 4th year dental students as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Periodontology. Some of Dr. Buckley’s professional memberships include American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, Hispanic Dental Association, and more. She is also fluent in Spanish. Eager to contribute to the solution of oral health problems in society, Dr. Buckley aims to cultivate an office environment that promotes diversity and stimulates professional growth whilst providing patients with the finest dental care available.
