Tip #1. Bring a Travel-Sized Invisalign Kit
It’s wise to keep a small Invisalign kit in your backpack, carry-on, or purse that includes your Invisalign case, a travel-sized toothbrush, dental floss, cleaning crystals, and extra aligners if you know you’ll need to swap while you’re away from home. Having everything you need in one place makes it easier to stay on top of things and also helps prevent you from losing your aligners. It’s also smart not to put these things in any bags that are being checked—keep them close by for the sake of your smile!
Tip #2. Stick to Your Recommended Wear Time
Traveling also often means new time zones, busy schedules filled with tours and sightseeing, and meals on the go. It’s still important to wear your aligners for the required 22 hours each day, only removing them to brush your teeth or eat (and be sure to pop them back in as soon as you’re done to keep things on track).
